How to Enable or Active Hyper-V to Create and Manage Virtual Machines in Windows 8? Windows 8 developer preview has ability to create and manage virtual machines with Hyper-V technology. Here I will how to Enable or Active Hyper-V to Create and Manage Virtual Machines in Windows 8 . Follow the below steps:-



From Metro UI type optionalfeatures.exe and click the Optional Features icon on the left side.







A new window will open where show Features in Desktop View. Check Hyper-V and click OK.







It will take few time to turn on the Hyper-V feature and restart your system.







Go back to the Metro UI and click Windows key. Scroll the right till find the tile named Hyper-V Manager. Here you will also see Hyper-V Virtual Machine Connection. But you need to create a VM first. To create VM Click on Hyper-V Manager.







The Hyper-V Manger will open in Desktop view here. Where you created new virtual machines and manage their functionality.
